About the CWLL The CWLL is in its third season here in Calgary. We have had two previous seasons of great success. The rules for winter lacrosse are basically the same as they are for Minor-Indoor Box Lacrosse, with the exception that there are no penalties. If any infraction occurs, then the opposing team is awarded a penalty shot. This creates for much more action in the game, and a lot more high-scoring contests. Winter lacrosse is a fun, competitive and challenging way for kids to sharpen, maintain or develop their lacrosse skill throughout the winter season. The Calgary Winter Lacrosse League was formed in the winter of 2000-2001 by Steve Morris, Les Crowder and Al Liddiard. We are now entering our 2006-2007 season with great hopes for the players and parents of the CWLL. The Legacy Sports Center The Legacy Sports Center is located at Hanger H3, #2, 2834 Falaise Avenue SW, in the Currie Barracks. You can reach the Legacy Sports Center for more information by clicking here, or by calling 233-2720. |
